“People want to be in control of their own lives and understanding their recovery can help them get that feeling back as they continue to improve.”
My Personal Story
Mark Hinderaker graduated from East Carolina University as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). He did clinical training at the University of Pittsburgh working with patients with vertigo and concussions. Most recently, he has been working in an outpatient clinic with a diverse patient population including patients with vertigo, vestibular migraine, and chronic headaches.
Mark’s biggest goal is for patients to understand their recovery and take an active role. He sees himself most as a guide or a coach.
Before becoming a Physical Therapist, Mark spent three years in Fukuoka, Japan teaching English to high schoolers. In his free time, he enjoys playing volleyball, tennis, board games, and has recently been learning card and coin magic.
